Sunday  2.PM have not been on since last post as our weather has not changed apparently it is going to go down later on today and so far their is no sun but still hot so i have been living in a darkened room with the A/Con on until 10.00pm at night then I have laid on top of bed. So unusual at this time of the year and we are the worst hit state they say a change is coming  late today so I may be able to get back to normal tomorrow it is debilitating  having to live like this I have managed to open doors early at 6.0-0 am each morning to change the air round but it quickly warms up  I know we usually get more heat than the other lower down States but this so early is gruesome. I have had my fill of television  and keep dropping off for half an hour now and again I hope it doesn't go back up for Tuesday the 24th as my day for the hospital I have an early morning appointment got to leave here at 9.15  one of my bad times still I have got to get there. Luckily I have been waking up at 5.40 so should give me time to come to. I have a new lady called Joanne taking me I have never met her and she is coming at 9.15 so not much time but to say hello as i am only 10 minutes drive from the hospital  hope she comes in with me.  I am not expecting miracles as I know they are going to mention operations and I will have to say no I think  hoping that if they cant do the  taking out of fluid or give me any injections they will get me into the doctor I am booked into for March sooner so will keep my fingers crossed aleways keep my legs crossed cos my Mum taugght me as a little gfirl to always do that I never knew why then  and guess I never did think about it until i got older. Parents do say funny things to their childre trying to warn them without frightening them Well thats it folks I have no other news my next door neighbour has not moved in yet its a man and I guess the heat has put him off he has grey hair and is already moaning about the trafic which I have got used to and saying he is going to plant bushes all along the front well he has a hjuge tree which almost touches his house and lots of other smaller ones so I dont think it will help with the traffic noise its only early morning workers and the same in evenings  as this is a long street which has a bus and goes through 3 suburbs if not 4 I am used to it no this heat has kept them all away. T hursday We are still in the grip of a heat wave it is going up 39C  for today and a few more days but they could be wrong I am in a draft from my air conditioner i hope there is no power cut but wh en i go into my bedroom where my televisiopn is It is jsut pleasant trouble is one doesn't know what to eat. I have been eating a lot of different things but they do not agree with me my stomach suffers more but I am tempted so usually suffer.  It is most unusal for these temps to come in early Spring  as i have said before the end of the world is getting nearer what with floods and other weird happenings all over the world so do what you all want to while you can Don't tell me not to be pessimistic becasue i always have been anyway being selfish I think I have lived in the best era one could perfect as a child and not so bad after but things are happening all over the world and no one seems to mention it and warn people so I will Now I shall get some bad reports back for this but my back is strong I can take it I am getting off the cold ASir conditioner is righjt on my back i am going back to my  just right bedroom have a good day you folks soon be Xmas I just cant believe how quickly it has come around I have bought a dozen wines as i got the opportunity through my bank to get them at discount so Aussies look out if you are in Adelaide ,you will be getting wine, pity i cant send it anywhere else. Actually I bought it for all the people i have to give something to at Xmas for their help during the year,  So I won't be having many botles left  after I have wrapped them up usually i have Xmas all done by now but not yet this year, have fun folks its later than you think Love to all my kind friends who put up with an old lady's ramblings Love marj

Wednesday It is a stinker of a day again today they say one more day .I am O.K. just have to stay put in doors with air conditioner on but bad for people who have to work ,so unusual to get this heat at this time of the year,  Thanks for all your  answers. I will get round to visiting you all soon . Have fun ,its later than you think. That's me being pessimistic thinking this world we know is on the way out. Probably get worse though before it ends, so dont worry .I seem to be putting my foot where my mouth is lately. I must watch what i write .I do not always believe what i write , my fingers just run away with me ,have a lovely day .I won on the numbers again this Tuesday and got anothr $27.  so i have put some more on ,funny thing that one costs $1.20 per line, and it is the one I win most .I never do more that 12 lines on any of them. Thanks for the replies to my questions about America it was lovely to see the American way of sticking up for their Country I have found that in Australia there is not the same intense liking and people say so. I realised I might tread on a few toes in my enquiry but I was not being malicious ,I just wanted to confirm my view That Americans are more patriotic  than Aussies, who maiinly come from other countries, like me anyway. Some of the older Australians are very patriotic though, not so the newer ones ,not that I am new as i have lived here apart from holidays since 1963. I expect the French are like the Americans. To me people are just people, and the ones I have met on here  all seem very nice, a few who were not I lost a long time ago. My trouble is i am more for England than Australia ,although now I have lived here a bit longer I have never bome Naturised, i am classed as a British Citizen allowed to reside in Australia, as we came under the then Migrant scheme for 20 pounds per adult nothing for the 4 kids and we had a lovely trip by ship  in 1963 for free .I am paid a pension by Australia,  and a tiny one for what i paid in for in England ,I think they took my years in the forces as part of that time. I find home is where your heart is and mine is always London ,My granchildren and all the greats are all Australians .Angela  became one so did Gillian, Nick my son didn't ,and i dont know about Paula as it is about 3 years now since I have talked to her, or seen her mever since I took Gillian back into my life ,I always think i have a peculiar unusual family, and blame Matt ,as at times he was weird, well I thought so anyway. I learned to laugh and live with some of his ideas I think it is good we can talk to people in other Countries ,it gives one a diffetrent perspective. So all for now many thanks for your opinions
